Our Normandie Project focuses on creating a cohesive and inviting environment for the two working professional clients and their dogs who reside there. The house, which is located in a bustling arts community, should also have a concept that captures the vibrant and creative spirit of the surrounding neighborhood. As passionate hosts who enjoy entertaining both inside and outside the property, the owners require a space that is practical and fashionable.
The project scope involved refreshing the most used spaces in the home. We were mindful to preserve and incorporate the original mid-century and heritage millwork elements of the home into the design. We used a neutral color palette that is accented by bold colors and patterns in furniture and decor. The goal is to focus on integrating worldly materials into the design to align with the owner's own items collected on their travels.
The end result is a space that is functional, stylish, and combines the home's original elements with a modern, eclectic twist.
